Sarah Fernández is a transactional lawyer seasoned in U.S. domestic and cross-border corporate, financial and acquisition matters.

Ms. Fernández has worked for law firms in Santo Domingo, New York City, and now Los Angeles, and has assisted clients in the entertainment, food and beverages, hospitality, pharmaceutical, specialty chemicals and wealth management/family office sectors.

Her intellectual property representations have involved the establishment, maintenance and defense of marks in multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the alcoholic beverages sector. She is currently assisting a music industry-focused shoot of a pilot in Jamaica.

She often works with U.S. clients in relation to the expansion of operations in Europe and Latin America, and with foreign clients in relation to expansion of operations in the U.S.

Admitted to practice law in the Dominican Republic and New York, and pending admission in California, Ms. Fernández is experienced in both civil and common law systems.

She currently serves as member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Barristers/Young Attorneys Section.

Prior to joining Zuber Lawler, Ms. Fernández practiced at Cabral & Díaz Legal Consultants in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

  •  Participated in substantial hospitality sector transactions involving assets valued at US$200 million, and handled pharmaceutical sector transactions including complex regulatory components.
