Ms. Nicol focuses on intellectual property, privacy, employment, corporate, transactional, regulatory, and tax matters.
Ms. Nicol has practiced in-house at high-growth companies and advises startups and mid-sized businesses through her own practice. She is enthusiastic about intellectual property law, and especially likes helping creative entrepreneurs and artists protect their intellectual property and navigate other trademark and copyright issues.
During her time in law school, Ms. Nicol worked on cutting-edge technology and civil liberties issues as an intern at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the First Amendment Project. She was also a member of the Hastings Communication and Entertainment Law Journal and served as a research assistant to leading privacy and intellectual property law scholars.
