She specializes in M&A due diligence and employment-related aspects stemming from transactional work. Her expertise includes general day-to-day advice, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, subcontracting of work and outsourcing, employee benefits, hiring and termination (both individual and large-scale redundancies), workplace investigations, harassment and discrimination issues, development and implementation of employee handbooks and policies, government inspection visits, global mobility and expatriate programs, workplace training programs, industrial relations and collective bargaining, social security and employee transfers.
With more than 20 years of experience, she is head of the firm’s labor and employment group. Nadia is active in the Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados, Nuevo León, where she chairs the Employment Law Committee and performs as Board Member. She was recently appointed as Subdirector of the Labor Committee of the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry INDEX.
