Mr. Herrera is a health and life sciences attorney and focuses on health regulation, public procurement processes, pharmaceutical regulation, regulatory compliance, small and large molecule drugs, medical devices and digital health within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
With more than 15 years in the Life Sciences area, Mr. Herrera has previously held positions in international pharmaceutical companies, trade associations and specialized law firms.
Currently, Mr. Herrera acts as counsel in the digital health committee of the Mexican Health Foundation (Funsalud). He represented leading pharmaceutical companies active in Mexico before different trade associations and chambers of commerce, as well as in the negotiations of international treaties signed by Mexico.
As an active member of the academic community, he is frequently speaks in national and international forums on legal trends in healthcare and life sciences.
He is the academic coordinator of the specialization course in health law at Escuela Libre de Derecho, a professor in the Universidad Panamericana, and lecturer in the Law Research Institute of the National Autonomous University (UNAM). Lisandro studied law at Escuela Libre de Derecho and has a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Liverpool, England.
