Jaime Fernández Cortés focuses on litigation and arbitration, specifically in the aviation sector. In particular, he advises on judicial and arbitration disputes on contentious matters before judicial or extrajudicial bodies. He provides legal defense for national and foreign clients involved in litigious situations in corporate law, private international law, transport, competition law and industrial and intellectual property, bankruptcy, real estate, agency, and distribution and disputes between partners.

Prior to joining Augusta Abogados, Mr. Cortés was a partner at the firm Cuatrecasas from 1999 to 2008. He is a founding partner of Augusta Abogados.
