Mr. Perez-Rocha is a transactional attorney and focuses on the representation of commercial banks and other financial institutions, strategic investors and companies on a range of financing transactions that include syndicated loans, acquisition financing, bridge loans, asset-based loans, financing of infrastructure projects and financial structures.

He has broad experience in corporate transactions and related regulatory matters involving banks, pension funds, insurance and reinsurance companies. He has built up a particular experience in transactions in the insurance industry, having advised on some of the largest and most significant insurance transactions over the past five years.

He also advises both the public private entities that participate in public tenders and in the structuring and financing of infrastructure projects, such as highways, airports and ports.

He is member of the board of directors and chairman of the audit committee of an insurance company and also serves on the board of directors of a banking institution and a securities broker. He has gained unique experience when seconded as general counsel to the largest insurance company in Mexico, reporting directly to Chief legal officer of the controlling shareholder in the U.S.
