Mr. Garcia-Travesi is a partner in the firms’ energy group, where he focuses on the power sector.
He advises clients in navigating legal issues associated with the development, purchase and sale, and financing of power projects (primarily from renewable sources), including the negotiation of contracts such as power purchase agreements (PPA), engineering, procurement and construction contracts (EPC), and operations and maintenance agreements (O&M).

He has represented a broad variety of participants, including generators, developers, financial institutions, equipment vendors and corporate energy end users.

He worked as a foreign associate at Paul Hastings’ Washington, D.C. office. He has a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Austin, Texas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidad Anahuac del Sur, in Mexico City.
