Edmundo Ramos focuses on labor and social security matters and is the head of the labor department. Mr. Ramos represents clients across various industries such as aeronautics, distribution and services, energy and natural resources, food and beverage, infrastructure and construction, financial institutions, insurance, pharma, retail, and TMT.
Mr. Ramos advises on individual and collective labor contracts, labor benefits, transfer and incorporation of employees, complex restructuring and termination processes, labor processes related to purchase operations, mergers and divisions, matters arising from the hiring of expatriate employees, labor audits, judicial and extrajudicial labor conflicts, among others. He also handles labor law dispute resolution cases.
Mr. Ramos actively participates in forums and conferences on labor issues and contributes to national and international publications on new regulations and changes to labor law in Ecuador.
