Ms. Dhakal’s experience includes high-profile mergers & acquisitions cases and project finance initiatives. Her experience also includes advising on corporate structuring for foreign investment projects, including drafting key legal documents for compliance with U.S. securities regulations. Mr. Ickes is a HCISPP (Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner) and builds HIPAA compliance programs for his clients in the healthcare and medical cannabis industries. Mr. Ickes’ comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of these sectors enables him to provide clients with invaluable guidance on maintaining privacy and security standards in ever-evolving legal and regulatory landscapes.

Ms. Dhakal’s approach brings a unique global perspective to her practice, stemming from her dual admissions to the New York State Bar and the Nepal Bar Council, positioning her well for complex international matter management.

Prior to joining Zuber Lawler, Ms. Dhakal worked as a corporate attorney in Nepal, and then in New York City.
