Benjamin Snipes focuses on corporate, regulatory, and tax matters. Mr. Snipes has deep experience in areas of emerging technology, including especially in relation to distributed ledger technologies. He has advised blockchain companies on cryptocurrency, tokenization, and equity projects, bringing deep expertise to structuring innovative financial products and navigating complex compliance landscapes.

Mr. Snipes brings over 20 years of experience advising on complex tax issues in M&A, crypto/blockchain, and international business. He has directed global tax compliance and risk management for crypto startups operating in over 100 countries, developing and implementing international tax policies to support cross-border transactions and equity administration. He has structured and managed incentive equity and token programs-including investor and incentive stock and token warrants, options, and grants-ensuring tax compliance for stakeholders through multiple fundraising rounds. He has provided legal and tax advice for inbound and outbound investments by public companies, SMEs, and funds, focusing on international tax planning and structuring for M&A.

Prior to working with Zuber Lawler, Mr. Snipes served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and legal advisor to financial institutions, multinational corporations, and startups. His in house experience includes providing counsel relating to corporate governance; product development; international business operations, compliance programs, legal risk management, and the development of financial and tax products for global markets.

Prior to that, Mr. Snipes led tax product at Bloomberg LP and Wolters Kluwer NV, developing tax solutions for legal and business markets.
